It's been several years since I've been able to go on a vacation.

Thanks to an old Army buddy with a time share that he can't use I'm heading to Fort Meyers Florida for 10 days ... wOoT !!

Does anyone have suggestions for things to do or see while there?

I have family there... not much I can suggest, been about 5 years since I was there last. They have small "casinos" in shopping centers and strip malls- that the only thing remarkable I remember.

I'm leaving tomorrow night and hopefully this time Friday I'll be on the beach hugging a Corona

I do travel often to Boca Raton on business, but unfortunately it is on the other side of the 'island'. I am glad you are going now and not the month of June, it can get a bit sticky in June. Great area for a Corona!
