My home page is on index.php(or the root directory), and my forum is on forum.php. so it's like www.maddenstudents.com is the homepage, and then www.maddenstudents.com/forum.php is the forum. I feel like this is going to be a problem when I update my vbulletin. How can I rearrange my site so that it's not going to break if I update it?

So you have a custom index.php page and all the other files are vbulletin files? Just make sure you don't upload the vbulletin index.php page and replace yours. Or, you can create a /forum directory (name it whatever you want), then close your forums, change the Forum URL (vboptions > Site Name/URL > Forum URL) to yoursite.com/forum, then move all the vbulletin files into the /forum directory.
