Full width header and footer images - How?

Ok so I have two images, one of which is my logo, superimposed on a full width background image. The other is a full width footer.

How do I bring these two images into vbulletin?

I know how to modify the header and footer texts (assuming this text will be overlaid over the background image)

This is pretty much my last style question:erm:

Ok have the footer sorted (sort of but it's not the dimensions of the image)... getting there

Ok so I managed to get the footer partially right but I need the Powered by vBulletin text to live within the footer.

try changing the below body section.

look for:

<div class="below_body">

that section contains the time and the copyright part.

you need to adjust doc header height.

add this to additional css:

.doc_header {
    height: 150px;
}

if i may make 2 suggestions:

• change the logo so it has a transparant background instead of white
• make the advanced search link center under the search input box like i suggested here

Yeah the logo will change to transparent - just using that one as a placeholder.

Once I have all the placements right I will fine tune the details... like the background will change and become considerably lighter.

Still not perfect - now I have an inconsistency between the logged in toplinks and than when logged out.
