problem login in login out

hi evryone

im havin a problem with my forum im usin vb 4.1.9

when i log in it says thanks for login in then it takes me to the portral if i click forum after says again to login in if i refresh it says ur loged in i dont know where is the problem is my isp internet cus i use 3g usb. or is a problem with vbadvanced or the forum can someone tell me plz thankyou ...

Sounds like the page is being cached, does it happen the same if you try a different browser?

hi thx for ur reply i tried with explroer aswell as i use chrome the same problem both of them i dont know why .

Does this happen on every page that you login on or just one certain page?

hi lynne yes its happen when i login or portral vbadvanced then when i login it says ur logged in after if i click forum it says login again if i refresh it says ur logged in i dont know whats goin on i dont get it is my internet or forum im confused. i tried explorer the same problem.

I still don't understand it if happens if you login on every page. You keep mentioning the vbadvanced portal. We cannot help with that. So, please login to a vbulletin page (NOT vbadvanced) and then see if you click to another vbulletin page and see if you still have the same problem.

Perhaps give us a link to the site with a test username/password so we can see the problem ourselves.

thx for ur reply i keep mention the vbadvanced becasue i dont know were is the problem and i know u cannot help about vbadvanced forget about it here i created a test name login test passwod test123 i think is my isp u can try it thankyou at albteam.com sory had to edit it as i forgot to mention the domain.

If you allow users to login to your site via both http://www.yoursite.com and just yoursite.com., then you MUST have your cookie domain (AdminCP > Settings > Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Cookie Domain) set to ".yoursite.com" (no quotes, but note the period at the beginning) or your users will have problems. Also, make sure to tell your users to click the Remember Me button when they login.

ok will do that thx.. bytheway i asked some of my users they said they dont have this problem so it must be my isp thx anyways

The ones who don't have the problem are probably entering from www.yoursite.com. The ones having the problem are logging in at yoursite.com
