Different Navbar Buttons Per Style

Hey everyone,

We're working to further customize our vBulletin powered site. We would like to have slightly different list of navbar buttons for the style used with the CMS vs. the style we use for our Forums.

We're currently using https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233629 to customize what tabs are visible.

Any suggestions for where to start with making this customization?
