My forum is running 2 main forum categories each using a different style. The problem is when someone clicks New Posts it shows all posts on one page. What I was wondering is it possible to add a drop down menu on the new posts and allow members to choose which forum they would like new posts from
3 options A&B A forum B forum If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks |

Have you tried adding "&include=a" to the end of the URL? That will only show new posts in forumid a.
edit: Um, hmmm, just noticed this is in the vb3 forum. I'm not sure if that works in vB3, but you can try. |

Thanks for the speedy reply Lynne but where would I enter that code in order for this to work properly. As I stated before we run our forums with 2 main categories
From the Home page you can enter forum A or forum B Each of these Main forum categories has masses of sub forums which is where I am stuck on how to seperate them with New Posts so forum A members don't have to sift through Forum B's content I hope this makes sense Im new at this please be gentle lol |

If you don't know yet, there's a few tutorials in the Articles section that explains how to do just that. |
