anyone got a link to any tutorials about how to create bullentin board hacks?

It doesn't really work that way. Each board is different. If you want to create some hacks, I recommend simply messing around with the code. Be sure to back up any important files. But, basically, if you're familiy with PHP/SQL syntax, and you've got some time on your hands, just go nuts.
