Displaying reputation level text vs image display

I'm having a problem finding the right variable to use which will modify my Member Profile pages.

On the Member profile page, I'd like to have each member's reputation level displayed as text.

Usually the "$reputation[level]" variable would work (that works in the Postbit template)-- but it doesn't work on the MEMBERINFO page.

Does anyone know the correct variable to call?
