Hi there,
I was hoping to remove vBulletin's default smilies and replace them with my own. I figured it'd be super easy - go into the smilies manager, add the new ones, delete the old ones. But it's turning out that it's not that easy at all. I had to re-add the default smilies because all the links on the side of the posts would then be broken. But now that they're re-added, I'm still having issues. 1. The smilies aren't fully loading at the side. I'm assuming this is because I replaced the default face with the new (gif) face. 2. Using the new faces doesn't work in posts. ie. The :x face doesn't load the smiley. ![]() ![]() I have two smiley categories: Smilies for the new ones I want to be the default, and Generic Smilies for the ones that vBulletin came with. Ideally what I want to happen is to get rid of the vBulletin defaults altogether and replace it with the new smilies, allowing for people to click the smilies at the side of the post. I hope this makes sense. Screenshots for demonstration. Any help will be appreciated! |
