Scenario: I would like to basically inactivate a large percentage of the members on my board and then, after getting them to agree to NEW RULES, one by one activate them again....
Is this possible and please explain how I might accomplish this?? |

This mod will force users to accept rules before being allowed to post:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=201312 But I wold be remiss if I didn't tell you it was recently the source of a widespread vBulletin hacking issue. The mod was since updated and the known issue seems to be fixed. There are no known exploits at this time. |

Thank you very much... that is basically just what I am looking for... Except for one thing... I still don't even want some members to even see this MOD till I grant them the ability to do so.
So is there still a way to temp inactivate an account in VBull??? |

You would have to make a new usergroup with the limited permissions you want to give them, then move everyone to it.
In Admin CP under Users is the option: Prune / Move Users You can specify which users to move to your new group. But I don't know how you would know once they have agreed to the rules without a mod like above. |
