sidebar on custom page

hi,

first I hope this is the right place. sorry if it's not.
I made a new custom page using this guide. my first question, is it possible to add sidebar to this page? I have about 20 flash files(lessons) and I want the users to click the links on sidebar and watch the flash video they want. I would appreciate if you could help me with this, too.
