One of my mods just asked me how to edit their own posts. Well, long story short, my mods do NOT have the "Edit Post" option enabled on their posts. I checked the user group permissions and "edit own posts" is enabled. Can't figure this out!!! HELP!

Check Forums & Moderators > forum Permissions and see if the permissions in that forum have been edited. And, are they in the Moderator Usergroup (that is an option when making a user a moderator)?

Ok... maybe it is my own newbieness (if that is a word). I have 3 people in the moderator usergroup. Do I need to specifically assign them to forums? Or wouldn't they be moderators globally?

You need to specifically assign them to forums via Forum Manager > very right hand column > Assign Moderator. If you want them to be Global/Super Moderators (moderators of ALL forums), then you would just put the in the Super Moderator group and you do not need to assign them to a forum.

Thanks, Lynne! Didn't know that. here... I had moderators for the last month... and they couldn't do anything anyway. No wonder why I had one that would just do the "report post".
