Although my moderators can access the Join Requests Manager, the categories fail to activate. In other words, even though I know there's a new user requesting to join, the category "Join Request" is not clickable and no names are appearing below it. What should I do to change this?
Do I have the wrong idea about what this is? What I want to do is to allow my moderators to moderate new users -- essentially allow them into the forum -- like I can, as site administrator. How can I give them permission to do this? And how would they do this, if they had permission? I don't want to give them access to the entire administrator control panel. So what should I do? Can this be done in the moderator control panel? |

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to make a new administrator usergroup, set the usergroup permissions and then place the mods that you want to allow to moderate new users in the new admin group. Then you will need to edit each mods permissions after you set them to this administrator group and choose all no except for the two dealing with members/users. Can administer users & can administer usergroups I believe. Set those two to yes then save each mod account. that will give them access to approve members but they will see nothing else in the admincp.
