Messing with Blogs in 3.8.5

Hi,

I'm trying to mess with the blogs on a forum.

http://pokegym.net/forums/blog.php

We haven't had a lot of new blog entries or comments lately, and I'd like to get the system to bring up the last 5 entries/comments, regardless of when they were made.

I've looked around in the admin area for the blog, in the vBulletin control panel, but I just can't find where those perimeters are set.

Also, I'd like to disconnect the Latest Entries and Best Entries and have them as separate areas. How can I go about this?

I've very new with all this stuff and have just been given the job to improve the Blogs area, and I thought I'd ask these questions here and see if anyone can offer some advice.
