I have a lot of changes I need to make to a bunch of templates that "Find and Replace" would be great for, but there are also a lot of templates I don't want to change... I see I can limit Find and Replace to a specific style but can I limit it a category of templates only? Like only make the changes in the Postbit templates but not the others?
If I do use "find and replace" in non-test mode what actually happens? Do all occurrences get replaced immediately or am I prompted before each one? I don't want to do it if it will change them all without asking... ![]() |

I suppose the easy answer is to test it. I just added a specific word to a template and saved it. Then I used the Find and Replace to find that word, and change it to another. (not in test mode) When I clicked find it lists all templates and the one it changed was at bottom of the list with the word done to the right of it, and the word had been changed. No asking, it just does it.
Test on a copied theme in case you blow it up. ![]() |
