If you added a 'thanks' hack you need to look at its documentation (readme file and/or the thread here) for how to enable display of the number of thanks, it may be a simple on/off in the mod's options or it may require you to manually edit the postbit_legacy template... if you modified the postbit template the changes wouldn't take because you're using postbit_legacy, redo any changes to 'postbit_legacy' and try again. There are quite a few 'thanks' hacks out there, it's possible some don't even support this. Check the 'user' table in phpmyadmin to see if there's even a 'thanks count' in it, if there is then at least it's possible.
To change from index.php to forum.php you go to Admin CP->vBulletin Options->Forum Homepage Options and change index to forum and make any other needed changes in there... you MUST also edit the filename via FTP or some other means to physically change index.php to forum.php - honestly don't worry about editing any templates for this, I don't know what chopsuey was thinking on that, he's usually right-on. And for your polls they are there by default, when you add a new thread there is usually an option below the post editor to 'add a poll' to the thread which will then take you to the poll editor after hitting 'submit' - if that option is not there go to your usergroup manager, perhaps you disabled the ability to post polls for your usergroup(s). And now that I've re-read your original question understand I'm not failiar with the style you picked, you said you want your postbit to look like the one in your picture- what does it look like now? If it's currently horizontal (above the post as opposed to besides it) then your style uses the default postbit, you need to choose to use postbit_legacy in vbulletin options-->style and template options, but it's possible your style doesn't support postbit_legacy, one way to find out. ![]() |

It sounds like an issue with the templates (the polls) maybe you can copy the code from a working template and work backwards from thee... it's hard to troubleshoot a template error- the author may have a fix for it...
As for the custom profile fields, this article makes it as simple as it will get: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=232855 Just remember you'll be doing edits in postbit_leegacy, not postbit. |
