VB If statement on forum link?

Hi,

I want to CHANGE the destination URL of the forum links on the forum home page based on usergroup.

For instance, I have a FORUM called "VIP Section". I would like the link to this forum to run a VB if statement:

if the user is part of the "VIP" usergroup:

then go to the VIP section

else:

goto www.xyz.com

Please, any ideas? Thanks
