Fixed or Fluid? Not sure what to use..

I have been using fluid themes, but wondered what the differences and benefits are between the two. Probably a simple answer, but figured I'd ask.

That's a own decision, but I preffer the fixed 'cause the things are consistent, fluid looks HORRIBLE in bigger resolutions or in a very smaller resolutions as well.

Fixed ones are preferred most because they give layout uniformity plus personally as a designer having fixed gives a better chance of working better backgrounds and high gfx based forums.

Thank you! That was why some of my members were complaining. Some screen resolutions made things jumble together.
