Attachments Missing After Moving Server & Changing Database Info

My forum was on an addon domain (cPanel) and as it's been growing larger and larger I thought it would be better to make it a primary domain on my reseller account. So that's what I did.

I made 2 backups: one from the cPanel backup feature and one via FTP where I manually downloaded all the files to my computer.

After uploading everything to the new account, and installing the backup database I noticed that the attachments were missing. That's when I found out that the attachment folder was empty. It was empty on both backups.

Where could the attachments have possibly disappeared to? There were no errors while downloading the backups so it seems like the attachments just disappeared out of the blue.
