How to add the number of rep points to the mouse rep over?

Was on another forum today and found when I mouse-overed a members rep it also displayed their rep value in points. Example mouse-over; USER is on a distinguished path with 257 points. Any idea how to so this- I'm guessing editing the postbit but what would be the variable I use for rep value points?
