security token was missing in searching

anyone know why i get this when i try search my forum, but adv search works ok

Is this using a default style? If not, you probably have to compare your modified templates to the default vB ones and add in the missing security token.

where can i find the security token template whats the name please? yeah its a new template.

What link are you clicking on that gives the error? That is the template you need to look at.

its when i type "anything" and click search on quick search.

Then that would most likely be in your navbar template.
