this option took months looking into all options of the admin panel and can not find it anywhere.

I've seen some forums that rereading a thread, remember the last forum post read, and I have to go through 20 pages to get where I stay.

anyone can tell me which option is it?

is a hack?

That is default behaviour of vBulletin. Just click on the icon in front of the thread title of a thread with unread posts.
