Boy... I'm really creating a lot of these things...
Okay, I have a text field in my mod, the text is stored in the database. When the text is displayed out on my page, I run the BBCode parser on it. BBCode is parsed fine, it parses EVERYTHING, even images and videos (which I want to turn off). However, its not automatically parsing links in the text. Code:
require_once(DIR . '/includes/class_bbcode.php'); $bbcode = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list()); $media['description'] = $bbcode->do_parse($media['description']); I know I can stop it from parsing IMG tags, simply by adding switches to the do_parse function, but there is no switches available for stopping it from parsing VIDEO tags. This is for my video directory mod, and people should not be able to post other videos in comments and descriptions. As well, how do I get the parser to parse a web address into a link? --------------- Added [DATE]1270115716[/DATE] at [TIME]1270115716[/TIME] --------------- Also... new question, slightly related.... looking into functions_editor.php I see the following... Code:
case 'nonforum': $can_toolbar = $vbulletin->options['allowbbcode']; $show['img_bbcode'] = $vbulletin->options['allowbbimagecode']; break; Right now on my forums, it looks like the option for allowbbimagecode for nonforum areas is set to FALSE, where do I change this? |
