Each vBulletin installation is a little different, so I can't give you an exact edit. You'll need to look closely at the code and edit wisely.
AdminCP -> User Profile Fields -> User Profile Field Manager. Print this out to paper for reference. Now go to AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Search in Templates. Search for "postbit_legacy" and select Yes for Titles Only. The resulting list will show each there (style) installed on your forum. Note where the Postbit Legacy is highlighted in yellow -- that means it inherits its code from a master style somewhere above -- or highlighted in red -- meaning it's custom to this particular style. Enter each of the Postbit Legacy listings that are highlighted in red first, and remove the code that displays anything that you don't want displayed. Use the printout as a reference, because most of these will be in a format similar to user['field1']. The field1 or field4 or whatever is on your printout. Check the "Save in Template History" box, then save and reload. Now open another window to your forum (if you don't already have another window to the forum open already) and bring up a new thread using the style you just edited. Does it look right? If so, move on to the next style.... if not, either edit some more, or revert to a previous edit then try again. Remember, I said you'd need to edit wisely.... ![]() |
