Hi Guys,
I've just purchased my first copy of VB a few days ago after being with phpbb for 5 years and I need some help. I want to pull feeds into the forum but want them displayed in a frame/section and not have the values saved as posts/threads. In phpbb I managed to write some code which worked well (see screenshot) It used to create a link to the original article + show a short summary. I want to do the same for vbulletin as well. I'm not a web programmer but does try to mess around here and there but I'm afraid that it's way to early for me to figure out what's happening in vb before I can attempt anything. I tried searching but I couldn't find any mods like this.... I'm sure there must be a few people doing something like this and it's not only me.... if anyone can give me a link to a mod like this if it exists, I'd really appreciate it. btw, I'm on 3.84 (latest on V3 and don't see myself going to 4.0 anytime soon) Thanks, Mervyn |
