I've been searching, and searching for a buddy list sidebar, with no luck. I know it exsists, as a previous site I used to post on had it... I just can't find it myself.

I've never seen something like that. Did you try asking the admin of the site where he got the mod?

I was told I could the portal to every page, I've yet to figure that out.

As far as asking that admin, he would not tell me, as he feels my site is a rival site to his.

The portal, it has a 'friend list', for example, my site has one... Uhm, the site we are posting in now has one as well, you can pick and choose your modules.... I was told the portal can appear on all pages of the site instead of JUST the homepage.
