Can you edit the number of users viewing a certain forum? ive seen it on many forums, they had 4000 active users(members and guests), but they had over 10000 users viewing different forums. could you tell me how you could possible do this?

Which displays are you referring to? The one at the bottom of the forum home and the display next to each forum's name?

Yes - it is entirely possible to change them.
