Ignore mod feature?

Hi,

I need to know if there is a way that I can allow users of one board to ignore the mod of another. It is a sports site and vb doesn't allow users to ignore mods of other team boards on their board. Is there a hack for this? For example, users on the Maple Leafs board would like to ignore a mod from the Senators board.

Is this possible?
