Big problem with vBulletin linking to wrong member's profile page

Hey everyone,

So on my forum we have a user named ╔(σ_σ)╝ and whenever you try to view this user's profile page you are instead taken to the profile page of another member, @_@. Obviously this has something to do with the weird characters being used by these two members, but I would like to find out a way to fix this problem. Is there a way to have vBulletin list profile pages in terms of user id's instead of their name? What can I do to fix this?

I don't know what that is. How can I tell if I do?

You are right. On this forum I see the link is done by the userid but on my forum it would just be like www.vbulletin.org/forum/members/mathforum.html .

Ok we have a mod installed called vBSEO optimizer which I think does change a lot of things like this. I hope that helps.

You will have to ask for help on the modification forum regarding that issue. As was pointed out, standard vb uses userids for the profiles. Your problem is with a modification you installed and so you need to ask them for help regarding this issue.
