since server transfer no one can stay logged in

i have tried upgrading them to the latest vbulletin version

once we login it goes to thank you for logging in redirect screen
but then it goes back to forumhome or admincp as if we never logged in
tried clicking remember me and clearing cache before process

any suggestions? major site and we need to get this up and running as soon as possible

first step would be to be able to login and stay logged in

running 3.7.6 latest patch

Sounds like a cookie issue. Did you change your domain name?

Upload tools.php from the do_not_upload folder and run it, there should be something to fix cookies in there. You should also make sure that config.php has the correct forumpath.

k thanks i'ma try both, and yes we changed the domain name but i haven't repointed the domain yet just building it on my server and want to get everything in working order before we do anything else

once i can login i plan to change forumpath within admincp but it won't even let the site owner stay logged in at the moment

Look at the login form action - http://www.globalemcee.com/community/login.php?do=login It's a different domain than what you are currently trying to use. You need to fix that.

well that will be fixed as soon as we repoint the domain without my help won't it? so if i fix the cookie issue and repoint the domain it should work in theory
