Getting PMs from an inactive database to my forum

I have a shitload of private messages laying around in a database, and I have a forum where my members are clamoring for the private messages that got lost in a merge (stupid ImpEx). Is there any good way to move these PMs to the new database (for the new forum) without disturbing the PMs there?
The database is still fully functional.
