LOGIN block position

Hi all,

My website has the LOGIN block in a horizontal strip across the top of the page. I have seen a few with the LOGIN in a block on either the left or right side.

I assumed this was a vBAdvanced thing so I downloaded and installed vBAdvanced but couldn't find a setting for this.

Can anyone offer some help? How can I move the LOGIN block.
