How to register usernames only in russian or only in english (utf-8 encoding) ?

Hello. I want to disable registrations with multi-language usernames. User must register his name only in latin letters or only in russian. I have the following regular expression:

Code:

^[a-z0-9_@().-]{4,25}$|^[а-яА-ЯЁё0-9_@().-]{4,25}+$

But it works only when my forum in windows-1251 encoding. But now my forum is in utf-8. How can I fix it ?
