Our hosts told us they were updating the server, and to make a back up of the forum. By the time we received their notice, they had already begun and it was too late. The server was down for several days, and it just went up today. However, everything that has happened on the forum since february 21st is gone-user registration, profile changes, threads, announcements, posts, everything.... it's gone. We found a file that may be a backup of our forums and it is called forum_name.sql.zip
We are not sure if we can do anything with that file, but it appears to be a backup of the sql database. Help?

your host may have a back up from right before they did the upgrade ask them to restore it
