Basically I'm looking to hide a particular user's posts from being displayed in the search results.
I have a RSS feed that provides job postings from a user I created named Job Info. I want to give each user the ability to not have the job RSS feeds posted by "Job Info." displayed in their search results by dropping a cookie. Just wanted to check if anyone has anything already like this done before I get into the code ![]() Thanks! |

You might want to do a search cuz I have seen mods regarding the feeds (search "feed*" in "all mods" "titles only"). Are all the posts going into one forum? It's very easy to exclude a forum from the New Posts.

Thanks Lynne, I'll do a little more research.
However, all the posts are not going into one particular forum. Besides "Job Info" RSS feeds I have several other types of "info" feeds that are going into other forums. So I'm needing to hide particular users and not forums. |

Hmmm, I'm not sure if you can do that without editing the search query directly and excluding any posts with userid=x . But, try doing a search and maybe someone came up with an easier method.
