Hide RSS feed from search results

Basically I'm looking to hide a particular user's posts from being displayed in the search results.

I have a RSS feed that provides job postings from a user I created named Job Info.

I want to give each user the ability to not have the job RSS feeds posted by "Job Info." displayed in their search results by dropping a cookie.

Just wanted to check if anyone has anything already like this done before I get into the code

You might want to do a search cuz I have seen mods regarding the feeds (search "feed*" in "all mods" "titles only"). Are all the posts going into one forum? It's very easy to exclude a forum from the New Posts.

Thanks Lynne, I'll do a little more research.

However, all the posts are not going into one particular forum.

Besides "Job Info" RSS feeds I have several other types of "info" feeds that are going into other forums. So I'm needing to hide particular users and not forums.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if you can do that without editing the search query directly and excluding any posts with userid=x . But, try doing a search and maybe someone came up with an easier method.
