pulling latest link in wordpress and displaying in vbulletin navbar

I have a wordpress blog homepage and a vbulletin /forum

I usually post latest stories 2-3 times a day of breaking news in sport,tv or showbiz etc. I'm looking to pull the latest story from wordpress and display it in the navbar of the homepage or maybe all pages, either or.

This is an example of a site currently doing it

I would imagine this could be done using RSS feeds but I haven't a clue where to start.

Even if I could get it to say Latest news from What's Your View: "the is the latest title link of the latest story posted in wordpress"

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance
