Specifics:
vbulletin 3.8.1 freshly installed Apache version 2.2.9 (Unix) PHP version 5.2.6 MySQL version 5.0.67-community I'm a sort of intermediate web guy working on a new website for the small/medium sized manufacturing company that I work for. The new website layout we're working on is 90% complete, and the boss decided he wanted it to have a forum for feedback, customer service, product suggestion, etc... Now, I've already noticed that every good forum on the web pretty much uses vBulletin, so I instantly decided to go with it, versus a free software that'll be unsupported aside from community support. Anyways, back on topic here. I've read around a little bit and for the life of me can't get my head around getting started on integrating the forum software into the current layout that we've created. Honestly I'm not even sure where the template/css files for the themes are located in the file structure. So can you guys point me in the right direction? Here is where the forum is installed www.warriorproducts.com/forum/index.php And here is a sample page I quickly uploaded to show what the new site looks like http://warriorproducts.com/forum/home.html --------------- Added [DATE]1233766577[/DATE] at [TIME]1233766577[/TIME] --------------- Okay, I figured a bunch of it out. Now the first link there to the forum looks pretty close to what I want. The weird thing now is that when you click on a forum category (ie General Discussion) it kicks back into the full width version. Can anyone clue me in on what template(s) I need to edit besides FORUMHOME to get that to work? I'm looking to keep this really simple. |
