Like alot of forums im getting loads of spammers signing up and 99% of them are russian or rather they use russian email addys. I dont really want to do a mass IP ban as they are varrying so im wondering if its possible to stop people signing up with say *@*.ru
Is that possible? I know i need to look into taking other steps to confuse the bots but i'm wondering about this option. Cheers. |

I was having the same problem, Im using a 'custom question' on signup and its stopping 100% of spammers for 2 months now. I was getting about 50 spammers signing up a day.

Ban ".ru" (no quotes).
