Default How many moderators does one licence allow?

I am looking forward to start a discussion group and wish to know answers to a few questions
1.How many moderators does one licence allow?
2.My knowledge of a computer is just an 'end user'. i surf a bit and found a niche where i think i can start a forum. will i be able to do this using vbulletin software?( Does one need a help or get some answers from manual)
3.Will I be able to advertise and generate revenue in my forum at a future date?
4.Do I need to have a server dedicated? ( I am not sure of the technical soundness of the question here).
5.My proposed forum will be built on medical subject. Can I integrate a medical dictionary into VB?

I am a user of a forum powered by VB and saw a link at the bottom of that forum and came to know of VB. I felt some ray of hope but am still intimidated

Thanks for reading the lengthy question of a dumb newbie

1. As Many as you'd like.
2. Manuals help, and you can always et help from sites like vBulletin.org and vBulletin.com. Also, if you are willing to pay a little, you can get professional installation of your vBulletin forum.
3. Yes
4. You need to have a registered domain and host for your forum to run.
5. The possibilities are literally endless on vBulletin, with enough time you could create an entire medical journal if you wanted to.

1) As many as you like (non-vBulletin limitations aside).
2) Yes, most of the time, the manual will have the answers. However, if you need to code your own modification, or create your own style, then the appropriate expertise is required (of course).
3) Depends on how you want to generate revenue. Advertisements can be placed practically anywhere.
4) No. Many people start their forums on shared hosting, and move to more powerful hosting in the future.
5) I do not know of such a modification available.

Please do let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for your quick reply. The speed gives me some comfort at getting questions answered.
I live in a remote part of the world. How can I get professional installation? How much would that cost if it could be done from a remote location?
And on the VB site, the pricing policy includes so much info about pricing for phone help etc. That gave me a feeling that running a VB based forum needs constant help and support, putting a lot of stress on time and money.
Ideally ( from a customer point of view) a forum should run smoothly on its own for the most part.

Good feelings. I got another reply by the time i replied to the first one.

Non-vBulletin limitations aside means?
If I intend to install as it is, will I be able to modify at a later date?

regarding dictionaries, it is a surprise that the word "vBulletin" shows up as a spell error in a site discussed about it!

Yes, through your Admin Control Panel and your FTP client, you can change files and templates, products and plug ins, user groups and images, anything really.

Professional installing [from a vBulletin staff member] is an additional $150, but sometimes you can get a good coder from vBulletin.org to do it for a cheaper price or even free.

Ive owned my forum for around 4 months I can say honestly, its get easier every hour. The first maybe week are the hardest, setting it all up, getting the right look and feel, etc. But once everything is set and members start joining and posting, its get to be fun and easy. =]

Limits outside the control of vBulletin (eg. actual hard drive space).

Modify what exactly?

The spelling checker is most likely a function of your browser, and not vBulletin. vBulletin is not an actual word, so it is marked as wrong by most (all?) spell checkers.
