Copying a style ?

We have a heavily customized style, I wish to copy it, rename it, and customize further.

Whats the best way of doing this.

Example:

Style name is BLUE

I wish to now offer BLUE customized but called RED

Then in style chooser, offer :
BLUE
RED

Can't you Export it, edit it on your computer, then Import it?

Not sure, as the folder is in forum>styles

all new templates goto forum root dont they.

Its been that long since I did one, Ive forgott(ed) lol

copy the skins folder rename to say red,

export blue style. upload with new name red. change image paths in styles options for the newly uploaded red skin.

hope that made sence am abit tired.

Export Blue style ?

I have copied "blue style" down to desktop. Renamed it red.

Do i then just upload to forum root, and as you say change image urls, and a few other tweaks?

yeah that should do it.

remember tho if u havnt done so.

Styles & Templates >> Download / Upload Styles >> download your blue styles xml file >> upload style with new name called what ever you like.
