Just add the forumid to the end of the link:
http://www.yoursite.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=x |

Can the RSS Feed, if shown on the frontpage at every category with a RSS feed icon, be limited to certain user classes ? Or does the RSS feed not care about user permissions ? Is it possible for someone that doesnt have access to a certain forum category, to still make him be able to read it if he just replaces the Feed ID at the end of a link to something he would normally not be allowed to ?
Sorry if its an old question, but I am new to vB and I know from other Forums that RSS feed often show more than they´re supposed to. Thank you in advance. tlwwolfseye |

The RSS feed doesn't care about permissions... kinda. The RSS feed only works in forums that Unregistered Users may view. So, that is the only permission the RSS feed cares about. If an Unregistered User cannot see a forum, then you cannot have an RSS feed for that forum.
