I am currently running vB 3.7.4 - If i choose to upgrade to vB 3.8.x
will the current 3.7.4 styles work on the beta version?

very nice..I did not want to upgrade and find that nothing works, or would not work with the beta...

You should upgrade a mirror of your live site first. That way you know what you are dealing with.

I really do not want to deal with unknowns right now, but I did not want to fall
behind...maybe I should just stay with 3.7.4 - is there an actual time frame on
a stable 4.x version? im just afraid to get 3.7.4 mods going then find them not
working when 4.x comes out..i guess i could deal with them then...
