Will it cause any problem if you are going to turn off the vBulletin internal search since it consumed too much resources, especially if your board is growing?

What do you mean by OK?

It's not going to hurt your board, except that searching will be turned off, and you can doit from the admincp ->vbulletin options->message searching options
