I have been working on my theme for a week or so and I noticed that when trying to post in IE it always says "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters." It doesn't do this in FF, only IE.
I have done some testing, it related to something I changed in my theme. My question is does anyone have any idea what template could be related to this error? Thanks |

I was thinking at first that maybe I did something in the options, but it seemed strange that it was only effecting IE, but not FF. I will look for this option, thanks for the info tehblob.
Edit: I just checked and I found that option, but it's set to 10, so I'm 99% sure it's theme related. If I run the default vb theme posting/replying in IE works correctly, just not on my theme. |

Alright, the problem was in my theme under the css settings for "Editor buttons in selected state" I had my boarder set to "1px solid #55555" having a 5 digit color code, when it should have been six caused all new topics, posts, replies etc to give the error message saying the text is not long enough when using IE6 / IE7 (firefox never had any issues). I have no clue why it would do this, but in case anyone else ever has this issue, check all your color codes and make sure they're all 6 digits like they should be.
