Can anyone help me with this, when i create a forum that is a link on the left it is blank, no description or last post etc. Is there anyway to create a forum make a post so it shows then tuen it into a link and still show the last post?

Is it possible when making a forum that is a link, to open up in a new window?

The link can be any link, so no post information can be shown, you could as well make it a link to google.

There mightbe a modification for this, but none i know of.
