Limit new members account

I wish to prevent new members from using private messages or viewing profiles etc, until their post count is at least 10

I have looked everywhere, but cant really find the answer..

On vb 3.7.2

Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Create a new user group with those features disabled, set it as default. then set up promotions so that users with 10 posts go into the registered users usergroup.

Yep, this is probably the easiest way to do it.

I have opted for CYBS advanced forum rules.

Looks like the easiest system to use, and is backwards compatible to existing members.
