I am starting a new forum. I am wondering if there is a way to save time and aggravation by importing the old style and templates. Both will run the same vB version. The old one has 6 or 8 mods/plugins, some of which involved template edits. The new site will use the images (buttons, etc) from the old one and some of the colors.
What are some things to consider in deciding how to make this decision? I don't know that much about styles and the templates in them. I do not have a list of the edits I made in my current temps. There are some templates with url's in them that are unique to the current site. Those temps would have to be edited. How many things are there like that which I may not even yet be aware of yet. |

I don't know about much in this respect, but you can download your styles as xml files and import them to another vBulletin powered forum, just go to Styles and Templates > Download/Upload Styles > Choose style > Download then go to board 2 and go to same page, then Import XML style.
