Our forum uses Paid Subscriptions as a way to give recurring donations, so I created one Donation Subscription with options at various dollar amounts. A member recently decided to increase his donation and submitted a subscription at a higher level. Since only one entry shows in the Subscription Manager, and no amounts are visible, we assumed his first donation had been overwritten, but this month his PayPal account was charged for both.
Is there any way to view the two separate entries and to set only one inactive? Clicking his user profile, I still only see one entry, and so I imagine that setting that as inactive would cancel both. It seems odd that the subscription amounts aren't visible until they come up in the Transaction Log, and that members cannot view amounts or edit subscriptions through UserCP. If anyone knows if 3.7.x addresses the issue, that would be helpful information as well, since we'll be upgrading from 3.6.8 before this poster's next billing cycle. Thanks in advance... ![]() |

You can only stop a subscription via that persons paypal account.
You will have to ask your member to quit his other subscription. |

Thanks, but I do see an option to set a member's subscription inactive through the user profile, so it seems it should just be a matter of being able to see that there were actually two subscription entries. I don't see how it could possibly be programmed so we can take your money but never arrange to stop taking it... not that there wouldn't be certain benefits to that setup.
![]() I'm hoping it can be handled on our side, both for good service purposes and because I couldn't find a cancellation option in my own PayPal account... |
