User email on profile page but only visable to certain usergroups?

Hi,
I've looked all over the VB options and search both here and .com and have finally figured out that there isn't just a simple option to do this.

I've recently imported a phpBB board to VB and everything has gone fine. But none of the admin or super mods can view the users emails on their profiles. The only option I can find in the ACP is to display email under the default registration options, from 'edit user account' within profile.

Which would sound about right to me to at least get the email showing. However we only want this information made available to admin and super mods, cut back on spam and ensure users privacy to the rest of the board.

I'm pretty sure that with an 'if condition' thrown in there somewhere i'd be able to achieve the result I'm after...but this is getting well out of my depth. So I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me please?
