vB Database Help Needed

Hello,

We have a situation where uploaded files caused a corruption in the attachments and we had to discontinue the use of that forum board. We re-installed a new fresh forum board, and created a new database, leaving the old database there, in hopes of being able to use part of it. The main part of it we're concerned with is the users table.

Is there a way to import the users from the old database, and include them in the member count, without losing the new users that signed up, before we could get to this. There are presently 79 new members that signed up, before we were ready to try to move the old users, and we're afraid we'll lose the new users if we just import the user table over.

Any help would be appreciated.
